An ormolu mounted malachite tazza, Russian circa 1840.<br>
This tazza is close to designs by Ivan Ivanovich Galberg, in particular to a design for a malachite tazza dated 1826, which was made for Prince Alexander Nikolaevich Golitsyn at the Ekaterinburg Lapidary works. Another design by Galberg, of 1848, for a Rhodonite bowl, is also very similar <b> see Anatoly Kuchumov, Russian decorative art in the collection of the Pavlovsk Palace Museum 1981, p. 327 </b><br>
