lnlaid overall with cameo-shaped hardstones includlng amethyst,
granite, agate and jaspers within beaded frame panels, the grey
and white varlegated rectangular marble top above an entrelac
f rieze drawer with an enamelled handle, the drop-f ront with a large
serpentine porphyry oval panel within a chutes de piastres border
flanked by lonic pilasters, enclosing a fitted interior with eight
drawers, pigeon holes and open compartments, above panelled
doors centred by laurel wreathed medallions flanked by detached
fluted lonic columns, on square tapering legs
